Steering Committee


The Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies is managed by its Steering Committee which is made up of:

  • the Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies Spokesperson;
  • the three Deputy Spokespersons;
  • the Managing Director;
  • the Equal Opportunity Representative;
  • one Representative of each Research Area;
  • one Cluster Professor;
  • one Research Group Leader Representative;
  • and one PhD student Representative.

    The steering committee manages the affairs of the Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies and is responsible for the design and implementation of the research program as well as the budgetary and personnel decisions made by the Bonn Center for Dedendency and Slavery Studies.

    It meets at least four times a year.
