Asymmetrical dependencies among Pakistani migrants in Italy's "informal labour sector"

Ayesha Hussain is a PhD candidate in Cultural Anthropology and a Research Associate in research area E “Gender and Intersectionality”222 and research area D “Labor and Spatiality” 333at BCDSS. Her research project is entitled "Asymmetrical dependencies among Pakistani migrants in Italy's informal labour sector: The role of Social Capital". She analyses these dependencies within the micro and meso level structures of migration including families, ethnic networks and diasporas focusing on the mobilisation of social capital of networks particularly within the informal labour sector in Italy.
