DESCRIPTION:"Tori and Lokita" depicts multiple forms of strong asymmetrica
 l dependencies connected to migration from Africa to Europe. Two young ref
 ugees from Benin and Cameroon form a makeshift safety net for one another 
 in the absence of blood relatives while they are facing marginalization\, 
 coerced labor\, child labor\, sexual exploitation\, criminilization and fu
 rther forms of oppression in Belgium.\n\nThe film screening will start at 
 18:30 CET\, followed by a discussion at 20:00 CET. The dicussion will be k
 ick-started with input from BCDSS Professor Claudia Jarzebowski and PhD Re
 searcher Boluwatife Akinro\, as well as Professor Britta Hartmann and Luca
 s Curstädt of the Media Studies Department\, University of Bonn. The disc
 ussion will be held mainly in German\, however\, contributions in English 
 are welcome\, and we will translate where necessary. \n\nThe entire event
