Our working groups are informal meetings of scientists who want to delve deeper into a specific topic.

These working groups are bottom-up initiatives independent from the structural setting of the Research Areas and Research Groups. They arise from the motivation of our scientists to exchange information about their research topics in a broader circle and have a dialogical character.

Additional working groups may be formed during the cluster period.

There are currently two working groups dealing with Narratology in Slavery and Dependency Studies related to Research Area A as well as a working group dealing with Contemporary Asymmetrical Dependencies (CAD). Another working group is currently being formed on the subject of the sociology of dependencies.
