  The film focuses on the dictatorship period (1964-1985) but addresses the
  connection between the early 20th century and the present.\n\nWhat are th
 e meanings of vagrancy throughout Brazilian history\, at least since Aboli
 tion? Who was considered a vagrant? What are the possibilities of resistan
 ce to attempts at criminalization of vagrancy? The movie tries to answer t
 hese questions through the an intersectional lens comprising class\, gende
 r\, race and sexualities\, by engaging in a dialogue about these issues wi
 th four female activists: Neusa Maria Pereira\, journalist and one of the 
 founders of the Movimento Negro Unificado\; Shirley Krenak\, Indigenous ac
 tivist of the Krenak people\; Jovanna Baby\, founder of the organized move
 ment of transgender people in Brazil\; and Nataraj Trinta\, historian and 
 organizer of the Slut Walk in Rio de Janeiro. \n\nOpen to all!
