In his recently published and highly topical article, postdoctoral researcher Jeroen Wijnendaele discusses possible parallels between the Wagner Group, warlordism, and the "Fall of Rome." Jeroen is an expert in Late Roman political, military, and social history and is currently working on the project Connecting Late Antiquities.
