The new Academic Year 2023/24 has started with the focus on Research Area E: Gender and Intersectionality, which investigates dependencies associated with gender, sexuality, status, class, ethnicity, religion, age and other historical, anthropological, and representational aspects relevant to explaining differences among persons and human groups, both in past and present societies.
Upcoming events in 2023 include the film screening of "Paris is Burning" by Jennie Livingston at the Brotfabrik in Beuel (23 November 2023), as well as contributions on Gender and Gender Ambiguity for the University of Bonn's Dies Academicus (6 December 2023).
