The British Association of Contemporary Literary Studies (BACLS) has awarded its 2025 Edited Collection Prize, recognising works published in 2024, jointly to two volumes. Among the joint winners is The Many Worlds of Anglophone Literature: Transcultural Engagements, Global Frictions, edited by Jun.-Prof. Dr. Magdalena Pfalzgraf, Dr. des. Silvia Anastasijevic, and Dr. Hanna Teichler, and published by Bloomsbury.

The judging panel described the volume as a remarkably rigorous work whose breadth of material is nowhere compromised in depth, and noted that it is sure to become a key point of reference in contemporary literary studies.

We congratulate Jun.-Prof. Dr. Pfalzgraf, who recently joined the BCDSS as a Principal Investigator, as well as her co-editors, on this recognition.
