The keynote on "Spectral Bodies, Subtle Power: Godnas, Materiality, and Transactional Strategies Among Indo-Caribbean Women," is based on her long-term research project and forms part of her ongoing habilitation work, "Transactional Regimes, Spectral Materiality, and Subtilization: Studies in Anthropology of the Body."
It highlights the interdisciplinary and global scope of research conducted within the BCDSS and demonstrates how concepts of dependency and materiality can be explored through anthropological perspectives on embodiment and exchange.
We warmly congratulate Dr. Kloß on this recognition and look forward to her insights at the conference.
If you are interested in the conference itself, you can find more information and the full program on the official conference page.
