Prof. Dr. Julia Hillner, Principal Investigator at the Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies, features as an on-screen historian in the ARTE documentary Konstantin der Große.

The documentary follows the life and legacy of Emperor Constantine, tracing his rise to power, his role in establishing Christianity across the Roman Empire, and the monumental building projects that defined his reign- from Trier to Rome to Constantinople. Historians and archaeologists reconstruct the emperor's world and assess his enduring influence on Europe.
